Dr. O’Connor has owned and operated York Chiropractic and Oriental Medicine for 30 years and is a chiropractor, acupuncturist, certified holistic nutritionist, and author. Dr. O’Connor is also a Physiology professor at Elmhurst University and an instructor for the American Heart Association. She raised her three grown children in Elmhurst, and enjoys exercise and reading in her free time.

Christine Pawlak

Christine graduated from the College of DuPage Massage Therapy Program in 2015 with top honors. She is a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association and has been trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Sports and Relaxation massage. Christine enhances the well being of her clients through safe, qualitative and caring therapeutic touch. She can help you relieve stress, ease pain, relieve anxiety and promote relaxation throughout the entire body. She has continued to further her education by taking continuing education classes in managing sciatica, fibromyalgia, depression and advanced self care fascia approaches. Though introduced to many modalities in school, Christine continues to enjoy learning about new modalities to assist in helping her clients achieve their health goals.

When she is not at York Chiropractic and Oriental Medicine, Christine enjoys reading, kayaking with her husband, and hiking with her goldendoodle, Jia.

Jackie Mau

Jackie is a 2017 graduate of the College of DuPage massage therapy program and has worked in chiropractic settings ever since, helping patients relieve pain and improve mobility.

Her training includes Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage, with a specialty in Thai massage in the Robert Gardner Next Level Pain Relief style. Thai massage is performed fully clothed on a mat or low table and is especially effective for chronic pain or injury recovery
